Hi! I am a mother of a magnificent 4 year old who has just begun his educational journey. I am the step-mother of an amazing 12 year old. I am a graduate of NC State University whose family is currently in a bad place financially. Since the age of 14, I have suffered from extreme depression with bouts which disable me from working. I recently lost my job as a result of a rough bout which extended my FMLA time. My husband is a Super Dad, but I realize we are not making it and need help financially to pull through. Everyday I wake up, I am saddened by the idea that my mental trauma has disabled my entire family. Any assistance anyone can provide would be a blessing to my family. I am applying for multiple jobs daily with no luck thus far as many employers see my credentials as over qualified. I am currently cleaning a home to bring in income for my family and provide my son the educational tools he needs. This is truly a call for help for my family who will soon be without health insurance. Our home is also in dire need of new windows as winter approaches as the current windows have caused mold problems and do not keep the cold draft out causing health issues for the family. As a college graduate, I never envisioned such a predicament for myself or my wonderful family.
